Sandra is from Dublin, Ireland, and moved to Canada in 1988 when she joined our firm. Since then, she has been exclusively involved in the trademark area of practice. Sandra is a registered Trademark Agent and practices in all areas of trademark agency, including the preparation and prosecution of trademark applications, the provision of opinions relating to registrability of trademarks, the transfer of IP rights, as well as opposition and expungement proceedings. She manages the international portfolios of both small and large Canadian companies.
For the past several years, Sandra has been an active member on various committees of the Intellectual Property Institute of Canada (IPIC), INTA and ECTA. She is currently an active member of IPIC’s Trademark Committee, and INTA’s Non-Traditional Trademarks Committee.
