Jaimie is an IP lawyer and a registered patent and trademark agent, who assists clients in getting their fair share of protection for their technology, products and brands. Jaimie obtained a B.Eng. degree (Engineering Physics) from Carleton University in 2005. He worked in the telecommunications field before attending the University of Windsor and University of Detroit Mercy’s J.D./LL.B. joint degree program, graduating in 2009. Jaimie is admitted to the practice of law in Ontario and New York. Since entering practice, Jaimie has assisted clients, in numerous fields, with obtaining patents and trademark registration, enforcing IP rights, and defending allegations of infringement.

Jaimie enjoys spending time with family and friends, particularly if board games are being played. Jaimie has not yet met a board game he didn’t like. He enjoys the simple classics as well as obscure, likely never heard of, games. Jaimie is also an avid world explorer who enjoys camping and traveling to as many new places as possible. His travel destinations (thus far) include Western Europe, Russia, Thailand, and Argentina.
